Liberty Spark is a grassroots movement aimed at solving unit-level problems for Airmen. We offer engagement across both local and international academia, industry partners, and technology start-ups to create and sustain a transformative and innovative culture. Through connecting our intrapreneurs to new tools, new methodologies, funding sources, industry collaboration, or just offering a diverse perspective on project development, we empower Airmen by cultivating and accelerating their ideas to bring the tools to the Warfighter today!

We are a team helping to develop innovators that challenge traditional methods and accelerate the creation and implementation of ideas while fostering competitive team dynamics at RAF Lakenheath

We provide timely, excellent service to Airmen, work-centers, and other stakeholders. We emphasize service over bureaucracy whenever possible.

We must accept change because the world is changing daily. By accepting that problems are occurring in every single work center, we can embrace the opportunity to pivot and drive how we do business, setting up the organization for future success.

Bad news isn’t like wine. We share information right away and err on the side of over-communication.
This is a safe place to make honest mistakes. Tell us about them right away and we can work through them.

Operations is the heart and soul of Liberty Spark. They are a diverse team of incredibly driven servant leaders dispatched to aid our internal Ideators with their problem sets.
Communications maintains our internal and external marketing strategies. They are the experts that drive content creation, execute our media programs, and ensure our message is loud and clear amongst our stakeholders.
Networking is crucial in our efforts to bring together academia, industry, and technology start ups to our Airmen here in the UK. Our Networking Team doesn't just bridge gaps, they lay the infrastructure for true multi-domain collaboration
Programs run our training and development sections. While the Technology Team integrates technology for the Warfighters, the Programs Team gets to educate, and teach our Warfighters on the merits of it all. Programs help innovators innovate!
This is where the fun stuff takes place. Our Technology Team researches and develops future technologies for innovators to learn on, prototype solutions, and implement with their units.
We are looking for support team members to help carry out day-to-day activities. Looking to get plugged into the ecosystem?
